Artist's Comments

Early this morning we were headed through the woods and about halfway in met this bear coming the other way. We had to back up to the beach and wait until he was through the trail. Eventually he popped out of the grass next to us, plopped down and itched himself briefly and then continued on his way.

You didn't want to scratch his back for him? :D
