This is bear 399 and her 3 cubs. I feel really privileged to have gotten the chance to see and photograph these four bears. It's her 3rd spring with the cubs (as you can see they are nearly 3/4 her size) and they will likely stay with her only another few weeks.

It's amazing to see that all 3 cubs have survived. That is unusual, even in a park environment. Nice shot.

Ah there they are again. Wish I could have gotten up to yellowstone before they branch off from their mother -- oh well! Fantastic that you got a shot of them though!

That's pretty impressive to see a bear with 3 cubs.. I thought they only ever had two at most. Nice shot, it's hard to tell which's the mother here since they're all so big :heart:
