When we were in homer we arranged to have a small boat take us out into Kachemak Bay to try to see some puffins. We found some after a short while but photographing them was near impossible. The waves were rough this day.. the boat was rocking up and down wildly and the puffins too were going up and down with the waves. Needless to say it made for very tricky shooting conditions.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
