Two eagles (and a bunch of ravens) fighting over a dead bison calf. The carcass of the mother was about 50 yards to the left. Kind of a sad scene, but nothing goes to waste with animals.

Ravens are HUGE! Heh I knew they were big... guess I never realized just how big
Anyway, excellent shot. Very actiony, and I like that it shows the less majestic and awe-inspiring side of bald eagles... people like to picture them nobly perched on a cliffside, or powerfully swooping to catch a fish, but they really are just great big scavengers, seagulls at heart :)

You're just being paranoid!
Now this is a sight to be seen.

Such an interesting perspective actually! Normally people think of Bald Eagles as soaring over the river to pluck up fish, but even these icons know when to settle for less =)
