Bristlecone pines are one of the oldest single living organisms on the planet. The oldest as much as 5,000 years old. The bristlecones on Mt. Evans are as old as 1500 years. Its amazing to think about what the world was like since they started growing, and how many sunrises they've seen.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
