I had been keeping my eye on the weather in Moab all winter. waiting for them to get a decent snowfall at a time when i could make the trip down. Snow was in the forecast for the weekend so I decided to chance it..... I was really really happy to get to photograph delicate arch in the snow. snowfalls of any measure are relatively rare in Arches,and to get a nice sunny day before the snow melts too much is even more of a rarity. I'm happy now after getting these shots.. delicate arch in the snow is something i can scratch of my list of photos I want.

Utah is an amazing state. I was lucky enough to be able to live there for 5+ years and I do say I'm sad that I had to leave. I did get a chance to visit Arches but I think you've captured the overall essence of it all. Great job.

It might look a little saturated but I think it fits this picture. Love the juciy-ness of the colours as well as the composition! GJ :+fav:
